Night had fallen. The moon illuminated on the walking male trainer from above as the breeze that was crisp danced over the fields. The dark haired trainer's bangs swooped against his eyes. He came to a halt for a moment to brush his shiny black hair with his fingers.
"Breeze feels nice tonight.."
Drake spoke aloud to himself with a humble grin.
His glowing fox-like companion gazed upon him. Her tiny Pokemon heart began to pound. The breeze blew longish black straight locks once again, as his crimson-like eyes gazed up at the starry sky, paying no mind to the Pokemon Center in the distance. He enjoyed nature, and all of it's ambiance. It simply soothed him, as if he were one with it.
It intrigued his Umbreon. Her glowing midnight blue rings flickered on and off, attracting his attention now.
With a smirk his long, gentle fingers cupped the base of her chin, causing her ears to bend back in ecstasy.
She loved it when he acknowledged her, even for just a moment.
"Mm.. Umbre..."
She chimed, enjoying the moment the two had alone.
Alone, meaning his Skitty was absent. Resting inside of her Poke ball. Finally. That nuisance is more of a day Pokemon. Bed before 10pm and up before 7am. Such a bother. Hana was still...adjusting to the hyper kitten Pokemon. Why her smart, logical trainer would actually capture the kid was beyond her. But, that was another story she'd rather not rant about.
The tall trainer and his Umbreon Hana took a seat on the hill that overlooked the path to the small town close by. The female Umbreon laid on his lap.Her relaxed gaze lingered up to the starry sky, admiring the Volbeat and Illumise that danced and decorated the moonlight. Her olive green eyes closed for a moment. As if she were meditating, she recollected the events that had happened.
It had only been two days since she and Kitty were inflicted with their new.. ability.
She did not know what it meant to be human, at least not yet. When in her, odd, yet, seemingly beautiful human form, she had met Drake for the 'first time'.
Not entirely aware, but with instinct, she had noticed something in her Trainer. Something very new to her. The way he looked at her. The way he seemed drawn to her, it was... incredible. Something she wished he would express when she wasn't human. But.. why did he not? Was it even possible? It was all so complicated.
Hana and Kitty knew that had to keep a low profile. Having not the slightest clue on being human, they didn't stick by Drake very long. Like Phantoms, they vanished without notice, hoping Drake would forget about them, and focus on his two Pokemon.
Though the urge had lingered. Transform. Just more time. Find out what this magnitude is between her human self and Drake, and obtain it as a Pokemon just as easily. After that, it won't be necessary to transform anymore. Hana thought.
Drake pulled her from her thoughts. Midnight had approached, and Drake grew tired. He picked her up off his lap. His boots tapped against the ground as he pulled himself up to stand. "Alright, Umbreon.. time to get going." He said softly, placing her on the ground next to him before the two began to walk again.
The town's lights gleamed more as they headed down the smooth, concrete path. Hana walked close by his side, paying no mind to the few people and Pokemon they passed when they entered the Pokemon Center.
Drake greeted the nurse Joy behind the desk, signing his signature for a room to spend the night or two. They shared idle conversation until a sigh escaped Drake's lips, capturing Hana's attention instantaneously.
"So, you sure you haven't seen her? She's beautiful. About 5'6. Has long, gorgeous hair, t
he color of plums.Olive green eyes, and...she had her little pink haired, hyper little sister with her.."
Drake said to the Nurse, a hint of disappointment lingered in his tone.
"I'm positive Drake. But if they happen to check in we'll inform you right away."
Nurse Joy said with a smile, handing Drake a key card for his room.
Without another word he nodded, tucking the key card in his pocket before he walked towards the elevator down the squeaky clean hallway. Hana followed not that far behind. Her head lowered a bit, even shook a few times.
"He misses her?! I mean.. me?! Gah... Now I HAVE to transform again.... I MUST find out why. If it's the last thing I do."
The glowing fox thought to herself, growling lowly in frustration, it was almost inaudible.
Without notice she was already in the ascending elevator. An impatient Drake tapped his fingers against the chrome panel behind them in a random rhythm. When they had reached their floor, the elevator beeped loud enough to startle Hana. Her black furk spiked slightly, and her emerald green eyes widened a bit.
Drake motioned her with a beckon of his finger when he walked out of the open elevator. She caught up with him right away, scowling to herself when strong fumes irritated her nose. Damn her keen sense of smell. The halls reached of
Pine Sol and Carpet powder. She couldn't wait to get settled in their room. When they reached the end of the quiet, dim lighted hallway, they stopped in front of their door. In one motion, Drake swiped the key card, causing the chrome like door to gently swing backwards. Drake stretched and groaned, letting his bag fall to the floor.
Hana curled up in the plush white Pokemon bed that wasn't too far from the mattress Drake was situating his things on. She wasn't too tired, considering the night was her element, but she was tired enough. Now that Drake was tired, so was she. She wouldn't dare keep him from his rest.
She had to get some sleep as well. Tomorrow would be a big day for her. Another day of living as a human. A human Drake was drawn to. Hana would play the role perfectly. This was no mere desire. It was her instinct. She craved the answer. She longed for it. If being human is what her Drake wanted, that's exactly what she'll be.
